Technology Barcode Update- THIS THURSDAY!!
Please have all of your devices on the yellow paper before you leave for the summer. Your leadership chair needs to see Elizabeth on Monday to pick up your team’s yellow papers and explanation of the process. Items to include on the paper, but please look over the document to be sure there is something else I am forgetting:

iPads (out of cases)
Document cameras
Kindles
Please include your staff notebook on your yellow paper!!!
SIP Chair Members- Please work with your team and nominate who your team would like to represent at the SIP team for the 2019-2020. This does not have to be a rotation of who is up. We are looking for a team member that is passionate about school improvement, would be a great voice to represent your team and someone that can bring the information back to the team members. Please submit ASAP! We currently have received K, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
We will meet as a SIP team tomorrow at 7:45.

Celebration of Literacy
WCPSS Academics Literacy and Office of Equity Affairs will host a Celebration fo Literacy on June 18, 2019. During this event you will have the opportunity to meet authors, enjoy appetizers, bet a book autographed, and learn about local community literacy programs. You must register to attend this event. The Data, Research, and Accountability staff produced the attached DRA FOURcast on Educational Practice Guides as a resource identifying evidence-based best practices in a number of areas for teachers and school administrators. This DRA FOURcast was adapted from documents developed by the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) and contains practical recommendations on how to use these guides. In the DRA FOURcast we explain the “Why,” “What,” and “How” of practice guides and links are provided to resources for learning about and accessing the guides from the WWC site. Also, visit our INTRAnet site to read additional DRA FOURcasts or to find professional learning opportunities.
