Internet Server Down This WEEK!!!  (read if you did not see the email!)
You will have no internet access Tuesday (hopefully it will be back up at noon!)

What this means for you:

Monday at 10:00-  please leave all printers ON and left ON Monday, May 20th. The county is doing a network electronics upgrade and will be connecting to your printers to match network configurations remotely --so even if your printer has no ink or paper and its on the network, turn it on and leave it on.

You will have NO printer access after 12:00 on Monday until Tuesday afternoon!

Tuesday at 7:00 am-  Classroom teachers will be taken off network.  Everyone else will be taken off at 9:00 am. The server team is starting with the classrooms to speed the process up.  Their goal is to have us back on the internet by noon on Tuesday. Our phones will be down. Once everything comes back online, please check the phones to be sure you see the screen is on.  If it is not, please let the front office know.

SIP Chair Members-  Please work with your team and nominate who your team would like to represent at the SIP team.  This does not have to be a rotation of who is up. We are looking for a team member that is passionate about school improvement, would be a great voice to represent your team and someone that can bring the information back to the team members.  Please submit your person by Friday!

K/1 Theater Production-  Join us this Thursday night for our K/1 production of at 6:30.  The theater elective taught by Ms. Spiggle and Mrs. Kellie have worked hard and will be sharing their talents with their families.  If you are unable to attend, the school will have the opportunity to attend the production on Friday. Please be on the lookout for an email from Mrs. Kellie!.

Technology Inventory on Friday, May 31st in the afternoon!
(Yes, it’s the Science EOG)

This is the Yellow Butcher Pa per Andrea described to you….
There are more details available at http://inventory.wcpss.net.

This may be slightly disruptive in classrooms for a brief period of time on your inventory day(s). Please make every effort to assist the teams in moving quickly through your site in order to minimize disruption.
  • To keep the barcode team’s visit as brief as possible, please:
  • Have all technology gathered together in each room for the team to access (put on “yellow” butcher paper).
  • Point out any technology that is hard to reach or not gathered together.
  • The inventory team should not talk with you, they have been instructed to talk with Alexandria.
  • The barcode team will remove cases (iPads) from devices if needed. Teachers may speed up the process by doing this ahead of time, but it is not necessary.
