April 25th

Communication

Melanie - very sad for us and our students, but are excited for your new opportunity. You have been a fantastic staff member at Underwood and you will be greatly missed.

With our projected student numbers, we are projected to have two less teaching positions then we currently have and there has not been a determination for the foundation funding positions. Our school staffing plan is due to human resources by May 13th. I have had conversations with individuals that this would impact for next school year. There has not be a decision for the shifting of teachers based on changes at grade levels.

Critical Thinking

Class Lists - When grade levels are creating class lists it will be important for you all to create balanced classes that any teacher would want to teach. We are able to control the learning environment. Also, these will need to be completed outside of PLT meetings. PLT meetings are to focus on this year's work.
